And they say, "Has taken the Most Gracious a son." Glorified is He! Nay, (they are) slaves honored.
View 81 More Translations ↓And [yet,] some say, “The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son”! Limitless is He in His glory! Nay, [those whom they regard as God’s “offspring” are but His] honoured servants
They say:' 'The All-merciful has taken to Him a son.' Glory be to Him! Nay, but they are honoured servant
And they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour
وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ وَلَدࣰاۗ سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥۚ بَلۡ عِبَادࣱ مُّكۡرَمُونَ ٢٦
waqālū ittakhadha l-raḥmānu waladan sub'ḥānahu bal ʿibādun muk'ramūn
